Dr. Taunia Markvicka will be our guest speaker and will discuss prescription drugs and how they affect us as we age. While Taunia has an impressive academic and professional background (see below)\, her experience in helping her mother navigate the complex labyrinth of medical and pharmacy care is what has brought her to our event. \nTaunia Markvicka\, PharmD\, MBA graduated from Creighton University and the University of Nebraska Medical Center with degrees in pharmaceutical science. Dr. Markvicka then followed her education with a two-year fellowship and worked in the pharmaceutical industry for over 25 years. She is currently embarking on helping individuals who need medical or healthcare related information as a consultant clinical pharmacist.
