As the author of 19 books\, she has received recognition from literary and caregiving organizations across Hawaiʻi and the U.S. For over 25 years\, she has supported caregivers through writing groups\, talks\, and workshops. Her experience caring for her mother with Alzheimer’s disease continues to inspire her mission: to help caregivers honor both their loved ones and themselves with dignity and compassion.
