Let me begin by expressing my thanks for your continued support of Amazing Care.  I never thought that in creating the company, I would use so many of the services we offer to our members.  My husband’s struggles with cancer culminating in his death last month have strengthened my resolve to do all I can to spread the word about our services so that people facing life-threatening challenges can avail themselves of the resources we offer.  Here’s a short list of how Amazing Care helped me and my family in the last year:

1) Access to a Physician-Friend-of-the-Family to advise us on options for curative and palliative care

2) Consultation with UCSD’s School of Clinical Pharmacy on ways to treat the side effects of chemotherapy

3) Access to a home caregiver when Pablo’s condition worsened

4) Use of the checklist from one of the ACN members, Dianne Goff, to prepare me for the myriad of tasks facing me now

5) The support and care of my Amazing Care Network of friends and colleagues who reached out and showed me that I am not alone in dealing with the emotional, physical, and psychological impacts of losing my husband

My husband, Pablo, was an enthusiastic fan of Amazing Care and encouraged me to grow the membership to help more people.  And I intend to do just that.

2018 promises to be a year of growth.  We begin with expansion to Orange County, California where we will hold our first event on February 23.  We are also exploring opportunities to grow in Chicago.
