Cora has 25 years of management experience in health care finance and delivery. Cora also serves as company President & CEO of Sterling Administration, a company she founded in 2004. Prior to founding Sterling Administration, Cora was President of the Health Plans division of Health Net, Inc., an insurance provider that in 2002 had revenues of $8 billion from health plans. She has also served as President of Prudential’s western health care operations, CEO of Blue Shield of California, Bay Region and Regional Manager for Kaiser Permanente of Hawaii.
Cora received her master’s degree in public administration from California State University. She is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Mills College where she received a BA degree and for many years, served as college Trustee.
Cora serves on the boards of HMS Holdings, Inc., (NASDAQ:HMSY), CorMedix (NYSE:CRMD) and Pacific Premier Bank (NASDAQ:PPBI). She also serves on several nonprofit organizations such as the Institute for Medical Quality and UC San Diego’s Center for Integrative Medicine.

She’s managed the marketing and public relations functions for national organizations with multiple brands, and also has launched marketing for startups. A six-time national winner in the American Business Awards (aka “Stevie Awards”) for annual reports and brochures, she knows a thing or two about how to produce good work!
Ann lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her family. She is a proud Girl Scout Cookie Mom, and loves skiing and the beach.
