Our first Amazing Care Network event of 2025 was a wonderful gathering filled with insightful discussions, heartfelt connections, and valuable takeaways. Held on January 22, 2025, at the beautiful Outrigger Canoe Club in Honolulu, the event featured Annette Kam, author of Wait! Wait! Don’t Die Yet!, as our esteemed speaker.
Annette’s presentation was both engaging and thought-provoking, shedding light on the importance of getting our affairs in order to spare our loved ones unnecessary stress and hardship. Drawing from her own deeply personal journey—including eight years of caregiving and a fibromyalgia diagnosis in 1998—Annette provided attendees with practical steps and essential insights on navigating life’s later stages with preparation and clarity.
The attendees participated in meaningful conversations throughout the event, exchanging personal experiences and perspectives on advance planning, caregiving, and financial preparedness.
